Re: Pension Board Trustee Elections

Dear Pension Fund Members:

The nomination process for candidates to run for the pension board trustee position whose 3 year term begins January 1, 2006 is now complete. We have two fire fighters who have been nominated and have agreed to run for this pension board trustee position. They are Brad Ballard and Phil Jack. A biography of the fire fighters running for this position will accompany the ballots which will be distributed as outlined below. As mentioned in our earlier letter of September 20, 2005, trustee elections will be held as follows:

Elections - November 1st through November 18th
For both active and retired fire fighters: ballots are scheduled for distribution by regular mail to the active and retired fire fighters' home addresses during the week of November 1st. The ballots are then to be returned in the pre-postage paid envelopes to the pension office by mail and should be post marked no later than November 18th. As soon as the ballots are tabulated, the official result of the count will be made known to our membership.

The cooperation and assistance of our entire membership is greatly appreciated by your pension board during this busy time. If you have any questions, please contact our office.
